Welcome back to the TKL Box blog!! This is where you'll find styling inspiration for pieces included in The TKL Box, as well as box reveals, and the TKL Box Market. My hope is that these blog posts help you find creative ways to style the pieces that you receive in your TKL Box each season.
Now, let's get started with The TKL Winter Box 2022!
**SPOILER ALERT: THE TKL WINTER BOX
The TKL Winter Box Styling Inspiration
The TKL Winter Box 2022, was curated with my favourite winter combinations in mind - textured winter whites, brass and wood tones.
Brass Bells
Antiqued brass bells may be my favourite piece of seasonal decor over the last few years. They're classic, elegant and will be a staple for years to come. I like to include bells as part of my Christmas home decor. This year I added them to my garlands, but they would also look great on a staircase or as part of a wreath. On my console table I used the small, medium and large bell, and on my mudroom mirror, I used the small and medium bells that were included in the box.
If you don't decorate for the holidays, you can display them on a book shelf or console table. I love how the bells look side by side on a stack of pretty books. I love the warmth of the brass, as well as the vintage vibes they add to a vignette.
Tiered Candle Sticks
The tiered candle sticks are hand-carved from mango wood, which makes each one unique with its own knots and tones. I love the organic detail they add to a console or dining table. Their natural hue makes them easy to style in any space.
Wood Bead Garland
I chose the wood bead garland as part of this season's box because of its versatility. It can be used as part of your holiday decor, with greenery, or on its own. It would also look great paired with a festive Valentine's or Easter garland, should you decorate for those occasions.
Its natural wood finish, makes it a piece that can also be used in your home year round. I love how it looks draped over coffee table books or on a braided tray for added texture.
Cotton Slub Tassel Pillows
I LOVE winter whites, and the more texture they have, the better. When I first laid eyes on the Cotton Slub Tassel pillows, I was drawn to the star and tree designs, because they added warmth and dimension. I also have a thing for anything that includes fringe, so I was sold immediately. The cream tones make this an easy piece to style anywhere in your home. I have mine on our mudroom bench, but it would work great on a couch or bed too. If you have a large basket, place the pillow inside, with a cozy throw tossed over the side, and place it next to your couch in your family room. It adds a cozy feel, while remaining functional.
2023 Planner
Ok how pretty is this planner? One of my favourite things to do at the start of each year is sit down with a hot tea, and fill in my planner with birthdays, holidays etc. This little book is what keeps our family organized for the year ahead, so needless to say I take my planner selections very seriously LOL.
Not only do I really like the layout of the pages, I love that it also includes a section for goals and focuses for the month. When not in use, I think the linen cover and gold detail make it a pretty accessory to any desktop or shelf. It reminds me of the Architectural Digest coffee table book, which is my favourite to use for styling.
Boucle TKL Scrunchie
This season I selected a boucle fabric, in cream tones, for the infamous TKL box scrunchie. It's the perfect textured winter white and I think it'll be a great accessory for the cooler months ahead. I'll likely be styling mine with my mom-bun, leggings and a cozy sweater. Who's with me?
