Welcome to The TKL Box Blog, where you'll find styling inspiration for pieces inside The TKL Box, as well as past box reveals. We aim to include items in each box that can be used in any home, throughout any season, however let's see how you can style the latest TKL Box in your home this summer!

**SPOILER ALERT: THE TKL SUMMER BOX

Exploring farmers markets is one of my fav summer time activities! I enjoy filling my basket with fresh goodies, discovering local artisans and just the overall feeling of community. The 2023 Summer Box was curated with all of this in mind. Whether you're heading to the beach, visiting your local market, or entertaining in your backyard, the box is filled with pieces to get you and your home ready for the long summer days ahead.

Farmhouse Glass Vase

A glass vase is a decor staple, especially if you're bringing home fresh cut flowers from the farmers market. When I first spotted the Farmhouse Glass Vase I fell in love with the double handles. They add a little "somethin" to what could be a very basic piece. The nice thing about a glass vase is that it can be used anywhere - your bedside table, bathroom, kitchen and so on - they're so versatile! When not in use, it can be placed on a stack of books to elevate your shelfie.

French Market Bag

I am VERY excited about this piece (it might be my favourite in this box!). If you've followed me for a while you'll know my love for a good basket, but a basket that can also be used as a bag is a big win!

Our French Market Bag was handmade in Morocco and it's perfectly imperfect. The bag can be used for any summer excursion, but it can also be used as decor in your home. If you're hosting, you can add some flowers to the basket and use it as decor next to your sweet display, entry way or countertop.

For every day use, hang it on your entry way hooks with (or without) some faux florals, or use it as a catch all basket to toss your keys in when you enter your home. This is what we use our basket for, since my family struggles to put things away! Lastly, I like to keep a basket at the bottom of my stairs for all the things that typically accumulate on the bottom few steps. It serves as a daily catch all, and makes it easy to bring all the little things upstairs at the end of the day.

Ceramic Berry Baskets

The Ceramic Berry Baskets are the perfect accessory for your fresh summer fruit. They are not only cute, but they're also functional, which is why I was excited to include them in this box. I like filling them with freshly washed fruit and storing them in the fridge, so there is always a quick and healthy snack available. They're also nice to use for serving fruit when hosting.

Typically I have a berry basket next to my sink, and when it's not filled with fruit, I like to use it to store my washcloths and/ or dish brush - the holes on the sides allow some of the water to drain, which is a bonus. When not in use, they look great stacked on a shelf or countertop to add a little pop of colour during the warmer months.

Farmhouse Vintage Print

Art prints are the best (and easiest) way to spruce up your home each season. The Farmhouse Vintage Print is neutral, making it an easy piece to style anywhere in your home - I also think it can be used year round which is a bonus!

I used a simple wood Ikea frame here, however you can use any frame to suit your home. The print can obviously be hung in any space, but if you're like me and you can't easily commit to hanging artwork on your walls, it can also be styled in a ton of different ways. I love to layer my artwork on a console, or add it as a backdrop to my shelf decor. Alternatively, if you'd like to temporarily hang your artwork, command hooks are always a great option, especially when hanging artwork on hard surfaces such as stone or marble.

Cheeky Reusable Produce Bags

The Cheeky Reusable Produce Bags aren't necessarily decor, however they were too cute to pass up. I like to bring mine to the grocery store or farmers market. It's also a great option for packing snacks, or fruit for any summer adventure.

Scarf Scrunchie

This might be my FAV scrunchie to date. I love the little polka dots, as well as the detachable little scarf - it's just the sweetest!
