Easter is right around the corner, and one of my favourite things to do on Easter morning is brunch! Since I can remember I would set the table the night before with my mom and sister, and the focal point would always be our naturally dyed eggs. Now I'm not sure if this is a Polish tradition, or maybe just a family tradition, but before we begin to eat, we have an egg battle ...it's not what it sounds like (or may it is! LOL).

We start with two people. They tap the bottom of their eggs together (elbows must remain on the table, similar to an arm wrestling match). The egg that cracks is out, and then the winner moves onto the next person, until there is one champion left. You don't actually win a prize, however it gets VERY competitive. But I digress, all this to say, this is why the egg is the focal point of each table setting!

I designed two tables below - a family table (kids and adults at one table) and a kids table - to provide you with inspiration for your Easter tablescape! Depending on the size of our gathering we'll have a kids only table, and I always like to dress that one up with paper cups and plates so I'm not cringing every time something falls to the floor. Luckily there are so many cute paper plate options these days that the table ends up looking the absolute cutest!! I linked as much as I could for both tablescapes below. The placemats with the jute loops, the linen napkins, the bunny plates and the bunny cake stand are from HomeSense.

I hope this post leaves you inspired to decorate your table for Easter. Please let me know below if you have any questions!
