Hi everyone, Caroline here! I'm so excited to introduce to you our new TKL Box blog!! This is where you'll find styling inspiration for pieces included in The TKL Box, as well as previous box reveals, and the new TKL Box Market (but more on that later!). We hope these posts inspire you to find more ways to make your home your happy place, using the pieces that I've curated for your home each season.
Since I know many of you are eagerly waiting for some tips on how to style the items in the latest box, let's jump right in!

The TKL Fall Box Styling Inspiration
The TKL Fall Box 2022, was focused on preparing the entry to your home for the cozy season ahead. My hope is that the moment you step onto your porch and through your front door, you're welcomed home with the comforts of the season.
Happy House Doormat
As you probably know by now, I truly believe that your home is your happy place - regardless if it's old or new, traditional or modern. If it sparks joy, and simply feels like a home, then you've done an excellent job in styling your space. The second I saw the cute messaging on this doormat it resonated with me. Place it at your front door, back door, or even on your balcony as a little reminder of what home should be - a happy place!
Waverly Rug
While our black Waverly Rug looks great styled beneath the Happy House doormat, if your outdoor space isn't covered, I would recommend using the rug indoors. Made from leather, jute and cotton, it's the perfect rug to add a variety of textures to your entryway, or by your kitchen sink.
Woven Heart Baskets
The Woven Heart Baskets are made from textural water hyacinth. They are both functional and whimsical, adding warmth and a relaxed feel to any vignette. They are the perfect catch all basket to throw your keys and other odds and ends into, however I love how they look styled in a bathroom!
You can place one of the baskets next to the sink with a pretty soap pump (the amber soap pump from The TKL Spring Box works great!) and a few rolled hand towels. The baskets also look great styled next to your tub, or on your night stand or dresser. You can fill them with little trinkets or your fav essential oils.
Wooden Prayer Beads
Whenever you need "that little something" to complete a vignette, the wooden beads will likely do the trick - they're the perfect styling accessory! Place them on a stack of books, drape them over a jug or basket, or simply on their own in a decorative bowl. They also look great incorporated into a garland.
Wooden Pumpkins
An essential fall decor piece - a pumpkin! Our hand-carved paulownia wood pumpkins are truly one of a kind, as each one has variations and its own unique markings. They're a great addition to your tabletop decor or placed as an accent on a shelf, mantel or console.
Olive TKL Scrunchie
Although it's not something you can necessarily style in your home, The TKL Box isn't complete without a scrunchie. Our scrunchies are handmade right here in Toronto, and the fabric is sourced by yours truly. This season I selected a dark olive green colour, to go with the moody tones that I'm currently loving. I think it'll be the perfect fall accessory, and it can easily transition to winter too!
