Shop Tour: A Home Away from Home

When you step into The TKL Shop, I want you to feel as welcomed as you would if you were stepping into my home - hence our floor decal "you've arrived at your happy place" at the front door. Our store is designed to be light and bright, with products that add warmth and texture—key elements that make any space inviting and comfortable. The pieces in our new reclaimed and vintage collection sprinkled throughout the store bring a touch of “old” that makes it feel as if the store has been around for ages, giving it a timeless charm.

When you enter our store, you’re greeted by a round table showcasing our newest collection. As you move to our cute scalloped front desk, you’ll find our carefully curated stationary collection along with a few other favourites, including our signature “Our Happy Place” sign.

Next to the front desk you'll spot the kitchenette, which is my personal favourite in the store. Painted in our signature "TKL pink", it houses our kitchen collection. Here, you’ll find a variety of aesthetic kitchen accessories in neutral tones and tons of different textures. From our Pebble Berry Bowls to our linen dish drying mats all of the products pop beautifully against the pink backdrop, creating the cutest little nook. The colour I chose is Flax by Benjamin Moore (50% lighter).

Moving on to the white shelves, I envisioned this area as the built-ins that would adorn my own fireplace. These shelves are perfect for styling all our items, giving you plenty of ideas on how to incorporate our pieces into your personal decor collection. The decals next to the shelves add a bit of personality to the store and, of course, make for the perfect Instagram moment.

As you circle back to the front door, you'll find our small but mighty bath and bed collection. Here we have a display of our duvet covers, towels, scrunchies and so much more! This little corner seems to be a customer favourite since we opened, and I can see why.
