Welcome to The TKL Box Blog! Here you'll find inspiration on how to style the pieces inside The TKL Box, as well as past box reveals. Our goal is to include items in each box that can be used throughout any season. Now let's jump right into how you can use the pieces in the latest box within your home.

**SPOILER ALERT: THE TKL WINTER BOX

Marble Dome Plate

This years winter box was curated around holiday entertaining. I wanted to include decor that not only looked cute styled in your home, but could also be the perfect addition to your next festive gathering. The Marble Dome Plate was the very first piece I sourced for the box and I think it's so versatile. It's great for serving charcuterie, or baked holiday treats year round, but it can also be used as decor; create your very own winter scene and showcase it on your island!

Plaid Napkins

My favourite way to add a festive touch to a tablescape is with napkins. For any gathering, they're an easy way to tie in a theme without going overboard. Since it's the holiday season, I opted for a red plaid. Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, they add a little cheer to your tablescape or spread.

Confetti Glass Tree Candles

I'll be honest, when I first sourced the trees, I didn't realize they were candles; I thought that you could place your own tea light inside. Needless to say, when they arrived I was pleasantly surprised! I first fell in love with these because I loved the confetti glass, as well as the brown tones, which have been my go-to colour for holiday decorating over the last few years. These are the perfect size to be used just about anywhere in your home. They look great on a console table, coffee table, or kitchen counter. The candles inside also make the trees the perfect addition to your winter tablescape, adding a cozy, glowy, moody feel.

Glitter Edge Honeycomb Trees

The Glitter Edge Honeycomb Trees caught my eye because they're simple but they make an impact (they're also easy to store which is a bonus!). Similar to the Confetti Glass Trees, they can be styled anywhere in your home, but I love them most as a centrepiece on a holiday table. This year I created a "Christmas Tree Farm" display on my dining table using decorative trees that I've collected over the years. The Glitter Edge Honeycomb Trees were a great addition, as they added a different scale and texture to my display of felt and wood trees; I'm so happy with how it turned out! While they look great as a bunch, the honeycomb trees stand out on their own and can be displayed as a pair.

Vineyard Wine Charms

I am notorious for loosing my glass at any party (anyone else?!), so I'm hoping these sweet little charms help my cause. I love the gold-painted antique look that not only makes them functional but classy too. Place them in a little bowl next time you're entertaining and have guests pick their favourite wine accessory for the evening.

David's Mulling Spice

One thing we should never overlook (but we often do) when entertaining, is the smell of our home. Whether they realize it or not, the first thing that our guests are greeted with when they enter our home is the scent. While freshly baked cookies, or a home-cooked meal are always a wonderful welcome, it's not always possible to whip up. Our Mulling Spice is meant to be added to apple cider or red wine for a special holiday treat (which smells amazing!), however it can also be simmered on its own. Simmer a pot with water, add some David's Mulling Spice, and let the aromas do their thing.

The TKL Scrunchie

The satin scrunchie in this seasons box will give your hair an added touch of luxe! Not only is satin great for your hair (while leaving zero creases #winwin), it can spruce up your outfit for any holiday gathering.

I hope this box makes you feel like the hostess with the mostest that you are! While it's nice to treat our guests to a lovely gathering, it can definitely be stressful so don't forget to enjoy the magic that you've created.

As always, I love seeing how you style our pieces in your home, so don't forget to snap some photos and tag us @thetklshop and @topknotliving.

Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful holiday season, and many blessings in the new year.
