I've been on the hunt for the perfect jean jacket for a while. I wanted a light [but not too light] denim wash, that fits a bit oversized [but not too oversized] and is long enough to wear with tights, since that's basically my fall/ winter uniform. I stumbled across this jacket from Ingrid & Isabel and immediately fell in love. Not only is it super cute, but there was a matching one for Stella! For those who have been following me for a little while, you know I can't resist a good twining opportunity!
The jacket fits perfectly oversized [I'm wearing a medium], and has a nice stretch to it, which is perfect for chasing a toddler around. I wish it was a tad bit longer, but I'm quite tall so it would definitely be longer on anyone that's a bit shorter. From the front it looks like your average jean jacket, but the back has the sweetest touch with a chainstitched MAMA felt patch [and a matching BABE one for your little]. I sized up for Stella since I wanted the coat to last her a little while. She typically wears 18-24 months, and she's in a size 3T here. The babe jacket is identical to the mama jacket, just in a teeny tiny cuter version.
I'll basically be living in this coat until it's too cold, and then waiting not so patiently to bring it out again in the spring!
